The picture above is from our ‘factory collection’ negatives taken by Armstrong Siddeley Motors, Publicity Department. The location is Stow on the Wold in the Cotswolds and the date is recorded as the 9th January 1959. Modern photographic techniques have been applied to enhance the image.

How quickly this year seems to have gone. Work on the Armstrong Siddeley Centre at Pentre , Shropshire has occupied much of our time, but with most satisfying results as now the parts department is completed and work on the Heritage section of the property is making real progress. If you have enjoyed our website with its regular jottings covering many and varied transport associated topics over the past year, and are not already a Heritage member, why not show your appreciation and support by joining now.  For only £12.oo pa. you would help us cover the costs, as we continue to bring you quirky and interesting facts. We also produce at irregular intervals the Siddeley Times Magazine, presently in electronic form, to members only.
