Website Update

We have published a new page dedicated to the Siddeley Puma aero-engine and its related engines, the Double Puma, the Pacific, and the Tiger. The Tiger on this page is the 1918 V12 engine, not to be confused with the 1930s Radial engine.

The page includes details of the history of the Puma engine and its development from the BHP/Galloway Adriatic engine, technical details of its evolution into prototype engines, previously forgotten photographs, and photographs of the aircraft it powered.

There is also an account of the DH9 Puma powered aircraft that flew from England to Australia.
